In-Person Learning

This class is a gentle introduction to cooperative education. Attending caregivers come to preschool with their student once a week on their assigned workday to help facilitate activities at assigned stations along with instructor. On the other non-working day, the caregiver can drop their student off at preschool with their work partner.  During our time together, children have the opportunity to explore our beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces.  Our play-based learning curriculum including creative arts, sensory play, physical play and circle time.  Curriculum plans include an anti-bias curriculum through and outdoor preschool lens.

Parent Education

Caregivers are also students at Bothell Family Cooperative Preschool. As an affiliate of Shoreline Community College (SCC), members participate in parent education. We place a high value on exposing caregivers to best practices that will support and equip them on their journey. You will have the opportunity to explore, practice and observe ways of learning and growing with children and adults. Learning is done in the classroom during scheduled parent education, while working with children, evening meetings and community connections. Families pay an annual SCC tuition, which is then used to subsidize educators' salaries.
