Mindfulness Resources
In November 2017, we enjoyed a talk by Ann Hollar, from the Center for Child and Family Well Being at the University of Washington.
As part of her talk on mindfulness, we did an exercise to feel what a difference it makes to have a conversation with someone who was listening intently compared to one who is distracted. She also shared with us three gifts for mindfulness - Presence, Gratitude, and Compassion.
Ms. Hollar also had a selection of books to share with us, which we would like to share with you. You can find these at a local library or bookstore. They're also available at Amazon - if shopping via Amazon, please consider supporting Bothell Family Cooperative Preschool by using our Amazon Smile Link.
