Raising Anti-Racist Kids
Here is a collection of resources shared by Barbara Yasui, our October 2020 Parent Ed speaker.
Barbara Yasui provides organizing, training, and facilitation on issues such as racism, diversity, education, poverty, and youth. Barbara was one of the founding organizers of the Snohomish County Study Circles Project, which was begun in 1998.
Barbara has an extensive background in education: She began her career in early childhood education, served as Equity/Multicultural Specialist for a K-12 school district, and was the Parent Education Program Coordinator and faculty member at Shoreline Community College. She is currently a Senior Trainer and Board Member for the REACH Center for Multicultural Education.
