Music in the Classroom

We all know that our little ones just love to sing, clap, dance and play instruments. Sharing music in school and at home immerses children in a rich sensory environment that helps brain development. Not only does music help with growing minds, but it also can help with moods, ease transitions between activities, and enhance bonding. At this age, children experience music best when actively engaged with the music: singing, dancing, tapping, rocking, and marching. Thank you for your participation during circle time. Parent participation encourages participation from the children, and creates a more fun shared experience.

Lots of parents in the Toddler's Classroom have been asking about the "Move Around the Circle" song. You can find that song and a bunch of equally fun songs at Amazon on  this MP3 album from the Kiboomers.
